Our Response to the Coronavirus/COVID-19

Dear clients, colleagues and friends:

As the COVID-19 virus is dominating the news cycle, and undoubtedly all conversations both in our personal circles and business circles, the legal professionals and staff here at Lyon & Fitzpatrick, LLP are actively implementing our response to this situation while operating in an environment of considerable uncertainty.

One thing is without doubt; we are all in this together.

Here at Lyon & Fitzpatrick, LLP we are leaning on our core values: Dedication; Professionalism; Respect and Communication and drawing on our years of experience in helping our clients navigate their most urgent and challenging situations. We will continue our commitment to providing critical legal services in these uncertain times.

First and foremost, the health and well-being of our clients, employees and business partners is our top priority. We are closely monitoring the situation, taking precautions and ensuring we are prepared.

This includes implementing policies on workplace safely consistent with guidance from public health authorities. We have educated our staff on preventative measures they can take to stay safe, including frequent hand washing, use of hand sanitizers, social distancing which includes utilizing conference call lines for meetings and whenever possible, communicating by phone and e-mail rather than face-to-face interaction.  As a firm, we are requesting, for the time being, that our clients and vendors refrain from visiting our offices unless absolutely necessary, especially if you or someone close to you in not feeling well. These policies will evolve as the situation develops.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the firm recognizes that providing ongoing service to our clients is essential. Amid the rapid progression of the COVID-19 and it the disruptions it has caused, Lyon & Fitzpatrick, LLP remains committed to providing highly responsive and exemplary service to our clients. In the event of an office closure, our infrastructure is set up to allow our lawyers to work remotely, so you are encouraged to continue to communicate with our firm, as you normally would and we will provide ongoing guidance during this uncharted and fluid situation.

We will continue to actively follow the guidance from the World Health Organization, the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and state/local governmental agencies and will revise plans and make decisions accordingly.
